About Juliet
I was born and raised in Perrysburg, Ohio, and yes, my house did back up to a corn field. The University of Washington brought me to Seattle, where I fell in love with the clear view of Mt. Rainier out my dorm window, along with morning swims at Magnuson and photo collaging with my best friends. I’m a 2025 UW graduate, where I majored in Public Health-Global Health and minored in Nutrition and Food Systems. My passion lies in community-based work, which is why I found working at the NE Seattle Tool Library so fulfilling.
I started as an intern with Seattle REconomy through an awesome program at UW, Undergraduate Community-Based Internships, and recently finished up my two quarter-long internship. My favorite part of this internship was getting a taste of outreach coordination, where I worked with UW Recycling and UW Sustainability to put on a free Mini Repair & Mending Fair on campus!
UW brought me to Seattle, but the tool libraries are a huge part of why I’m so excited to stay!
