May Volunteers of the Month: Eli & Mike

We want all of our volunteers to make their role with our tool libraries their own, and Eli and Mike have done just that. They've tackled numerous projects outside of welcoming folks in, and we are so thankful for their proactivity and positivity 💚

Eli has been volunteering with us weekly since April, and what an addition it has been! Eli has been able to bring prior tool knowledge and expertise along with a humble curiosity that is exactly what we stand for here at the Tool Library. A great collaborator, Eli has worked on several special projects including our inventory blitz and redoing our shelving system above the 3D printers. We really appreciate his ability to be autonomous in project execution and his mellow vibe. Eli is graduating from UW this June, so an extra big congrats and good luck from your tool library fam! Thank you!

Mike is an incredibly dependable and valuable member of our team, especially at the Bike Shack. He's consistently shown up to help, making a real difference in keeping things running smoothly. Beyond his regular contributions, Mike has been a fantastic presence at many of our work parties, always willing to lend a hand wherever it's needed. One of Mike's most recent and significant contributions was building our new workbench in the Bike Shack. Thank you, Mike, for all you do for the Shoreline Tool Library! We truly appreciate your hard work and commitment.
