Are you ready to move along cold-weather clothing and accessories that no longer suit or fit you? Do you have Halloween costumes that no longer fit your children? Are they in good condition, and do you cringe at the thought of throwing them away?

Are you looking for some warmer clothes and accessories for this coming winter? Are you tired of spending too much money on Halloween costumes that your kids grow out of the next year? Are you interested in sustainable reuse of clothing?

If the answer to any of these is “Yes!”, then please join us at the Shoreline Tool Library’s Winter Clothing and Halloween Costume Swap on September 27!

This event is free, but because of capacity restraints, we must limit the swap itself to 50 people. Please RSVP to attend the swap (you don’t need to register if you only plan on donating clothing or costumes).

• If you’d like to browse what’s donated, RSVP and come by any time on September 27 between 11am and 1pm.
• If you’d like to donate, drop off your donations directly to the Shoreline Tool Library on September 27 from 10-11am. Remember, you don’t have to register if all you’re doing is donating.

Donations Accepted:

• Clean and wearable winter clothing and accessories for adults, children, and infants.
• Clean and wearable Halloween costumes for infants, children, and adults.

FAQS:

• Will there be dressing rooms? Yes, there will be at least one dressing room.
• Is there a good way to get there by bicycle or walking? Yes, the Interurban Trail runs right behind the Shoreline Tool Library, providing a non-motorized way to get to us. And, we have a bike rack in front that holds up to ten bicycles.
• Should I bring anything? It might be a good idea to bring a few bags for any clothing you may take home with you.

All classes in Seattle REconomy’s Shoreline Sustainable Skill Series (S4) are offered at a reduced rate. Funding for this series has been provided, in full or in part, by the City of Shoreline. If cost is a concern, we encourage you to contact us at info@seattlereconomy.org to discuss options.

ACCESSIBILITY:

• The venue is wheelchair accessible and has an all-gender restroom. The restroom is ADA compliant.
• Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events, however attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.
• Please contact us with any accessibility notes or requests.

GETTING THERE:

• By transit: Served by King County Metro bus Rapid Ride E Line on Aurora Ave N and N 165th.
• By bike: The venue is located one block west of the Interurban Trail. Shoreline Light Rail stations are each about 2 miles away. A bicycle rack is available outside the building.
• Car parking: There is an asphalt parking lot that fits up to 20 cars. There is one ADA van accessible parking space with an access aisle.
