November 19 @ 6:00 pm - 7:00 pm
$10.00
Waste sorting is important, but it can be challenging! Learn the ins and outs of waste sorting in a fun, hands-on game show experience!

The Waste Sorting Seminar is a class that teaches the importance of waste sorting and how to do it! Participants can learn about common waste sorting challenges, why it’s important to sort waste, how to reduce what goes to our landfills, and get a full game show experience on the challenges of sorting trash.

About the instructor, Stephan M. Classen: Stephan was the Assistant Director of Sustainable Practices at Cascadia College for 7 years. Stephan has run this class/workshop session many times, educating on waste sorting and composting, and includes a game to test, identify, and learn how to sort uncommon items.

This class is offered at a reduced rate as a part of Seattle REconomy’s Community Tool Chest fundraiser in support of expanding programming to our new Lake City location.
