Join Our Community
Anyone 18+ can become a tool library member (younger folks can use a parent or guardian’s account with permission), whether you live in Washington or anywhere else in the world. Most memberships are good for 12 months and may be renewed anytime.

Membership Steps
- Create an account on your computer or mobile device. Our tool libraries also have computers available.
- Pay for a membership. To see current membership fee levels, please click on the button “Create an Account.” Membership can be paid for when creating an account online or in-person. Certain discounted memberships for those with less financial resources are only available in person.
- Come to one of the tool libraries during open hours with a government-issued photo ID.
