June Volunteers of the Month: Andrew & Chad

Two "polaroids" of the July volunteers of the month. The left one has the NE Seattle Tool Library volunteer of the month, Andrew, who is holding a donut in the NE Seattle Tool Library The right one has the Shoreline Tool Library volunteer of the month, Chad, who is wearing a helmet in the woods.
Andrew and Chad have quickly become regular faces in our Bike Shacks. We are so thankful to have such caring individuals helping the community to keep on biking 💚

Andrew has been such a delightful addition to our tool library family this past year. Occasionally barefoot but always good-spirited, his helpfulness and friendliness can be felt in the far reaches of the tool library, even though he is usually locked away in his bike shack cave! If you have not had the chance to meet Andrew yet, stop by the bike shack on almost any Tuesday, and you will find him working away and happy to chat. Andrew- thanks for all you do!

We are absolutely thrilled to announce Chad as our June Volunteer of the Month at the Shoreline Tool Library/Bike Shack! Chad has steadily become a regular fixture in the shop, bringing with him a wealth of knowledge and years of experience from working in traditional bike shops. He is always willing to step in and help out, whether he is patiently teaching members how to repair their own rides or dedicating his time to make the Bike Shack a cleaner, more organized, and welcoming space for everyone. On behalf of the staff, your fellow volunteers, and the many community members you have helped get back on two wheels, thank you so much for your dedication, Chad! Next time you see him around the Tool Library, please join us in giving him a massive thank you and a well-deserved high-five.
