Come in to our workshop to work on wood projects and get guidance on your woodworking. Once you have completed the workshop orientation you may sign up for open shop hours!

We charge a $15 fee to access the shop and recommend a donation of $15 per hour of usage. Your donations help keep our workshop open. You are able to pay any additional time via a QR code once you have completed your time in the shop.

All shop time will be supervised by shop steward volunteers who will help you safely use our tools.

ACCESSIBILITY: 

• Much of the NE Seattle Tool Library interior is wheelchair accessible.  All entrances have ramps that may exceed a 5 degree slope. The all-gender restroom is quite small and not ADA compliant. 
• Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events, however attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.
• Please contact us with any accessibility notes or requests. 

GETTING THERE:

• By transit: Served by King County Metro bus route 372 stopping along Lake City Way NE at NE 98th St.  Route 61 stops at NE Northgate Way & 23rd Ave NE and is a ½ mile walk from the tool library.
• By bike: There are multiple bicycle route options available to the tool library, and you are welcome to stow your bicycle inside the tool library during your visit.
• Car parking: There is a gravel parking lot that fits about 10 cars, and an asphalt parking lot that fits 5 cars. There is no ADA accessible parking.
