I took the 3D Printer Orientation with David and printed this adapter for my yarn winder. I think I got lucky because the "pattern" I found in Thingiverse was made on the same model printer as the tool library's printers, so I didn't have to adjust much in the Prusaslicer software to get the g-code. I mainly lessened the default infill and added supports. The creator didn't use supports, but I added them, and they were a bit of a pain to remove. It was scary to do by myself, but David taught the class well. I'm sure it gets easier with practice, but this was a great first success from class to printed object!
The white piece is the original winder, and the black one is the printed adapter to wind small skeins of yarn.
