January Volunteers of the Month: Jim, Rob, and Dave

Tools and community are the foundation of our tool libraries, and these volunteers make both shine. Jim, Rob, and Dave, thank you for everything you've done for the tool libraries, the community, and the environment 💚

One of the core tenets that make Tool Libraries and circular economies function, is the art of fixing. An art that centers on curiosity, creativity, hard work and perseverance. We are continually grateful for all the fixers who walk through our doors, and this month we want to pay special appreciation to two of them! Jim and Rob are absolute bedrocks of the Tool Library, if you have borrowed a tool from NESTL, you've probably borrowed a tool one of them has fixed. Jim and Rob, thank you for your humble dedication and your commitment to true reuse and repurposing. May we all be inspired and encouraged by your efforts to fix and care for the things in our lives.

Dave joined the Shoreline Tool Library right at the start and has been volunteering on a consistent basis for a year now. We are really happy to see Dave every time he arrives - he’s cheerful, helps with everything there is to do throughout the library, and has a very friendly and gracious way with our members. Regardless of what’s going on around here, Dave offers thoughtful, sensible suggestions to members and volunteers alike, and we couldn’t do it without him. Thank you so much for everything you bring to Shoreline Tool Library, Dave!
