July Volunteers of the Month: Natalie & Ryan

Two "polaroids" of the July volunteers of the month. The left one features Natalie, who is smiling with her husband, Travis, in some canyons. The left one features Ryan, who is holding her baby, Estelle, in the sun.
Natalie and Ryan continue to help us out tremendously on the back end of running the tool libraries, and we keep finding ways to be thankful for them. They both began as passionate volunteers, and now they're committed board members 💚

Natalie White has been volunteering with us since the beginning of the Shoreline Tool Library! In fact, she and her husband, Travis, were there at the grand opening, welcoming folks into our new space. Since then, she has joined the steering committee and recently became our board secretary. From large initiatives like putting dozens of hours into helping develop a comprehensive fundraising strategy, to running the front desk, Natalie brings a friendly professionalism that is invaluable and contagious. We appreciate you so much, Natalie!

Ryan Abe is a true rock star in the Seattle REconomy world. As a co-founder of the Shoreline Tool Library, she has continued to help lead the program while sitting on the Shoreline Tool Library steering committee. She also serves as the board treasurer and helps lead both our finance and inclusivity committees. As if that wasn't enough, she recently took on leading a hiring task force and an extensive Key Performance Indicator project. Finally, Ryan is raising a beautiful baby, Estelle, to be a future Tool Librarian! We would not be the same organization without her, and our appreciation for her is limitless. Thank you, Ryan!
