November Volunteers of the Month: Tricia & Ashley

Two "polaroids" of the November volunteers of the month. The left one has the NE Seattle Tool Library volunteer of the month, Tricia, who is pictured in a polaroid in the NE Seattle Tool Library. The left one has the Shoreline Tool Library volunteer of the month, Ashley, who is taking a selfie with a hat and headphones on.
Our November volunteers of the month have semi-recently joined us, but their commitment, passion, and endless support have made it feel like they've been with us for years. Thank you, Tricia and Ashley, for becoming such reliable and outstanding staples of our community so quickly💚

Tricia has been a wonderful and consistent addition to our team these past months. From the first night she completed her training till now, she has brought her relaxed, cool, and competent vibe to her weekly shift. Tricia is not only a great tool librarian, but an inspiration to us in her crafting pursuits! Whether a bag, blanket, or other textile project, it is always fun to see what cool thing Tricia is currently working on. Tricia- thank you so much for being a part of our community, we feel so lucky to have you!

Ashley is a relatively new volunteer with STL but she plugged right in immediately and has had a prolific output as a Fixer. She's been coming in consistently each week and during each of those shifts once-broken tools of all kinds emerge from the fixer room ready for members to use again. The pile of tools in maintenance had been getting a bit out of control for a while there, and through her curiosity, ingenuity, skill and cheerfulness Ashley has helped to get it back to a manageable flow now. It's always a treat when Ashley comes in for a shift and not just because of her skill as a Fixer. Ashley is a friendly, wonderful human being and we are grateful that she chooses to spend some time with us.
