Join us for the first edition of NESTL’s book club! We’ll be reading Robin Wall Kimmerer’s newest book, The Serviceberry: Abundance and Reciprocity in the Natural World. We’ll have some discussion topics prepared, but will allow the conversation to flow wherever the group takes it.
We chose The Serviceberry as our first book because it aligns with our values here at the tool library and is short and sweet (just over 100 pages). During April’s meeting, we’ll vote as a group to choose our next read. Bring your ideas!
The Seattle Public Library has plenty of copies, but we’d suggest getting on the hold list soon! You can often find a copy in the Peak Picks section as well. If you’d like to purchase a copy, support your local independent bookstores if possible!
