Tool Library Book Club

Join us for the ninth edition of the NE Seattle Tool Library’s book club! We’ll be reading the Doppelganger: A Trip into the Mirror World by Naomi Klein.
All are welcome at bookclub! We hope to see you there for some discussion and community building.
Looking for a copy? There are a handful at the Seattle Public Libraries and King County Libraries. We also suggest a thriftbooks.com and betterworldbooks.com for ordering used books.
Our group agreements are as follows:
- Respect! Respect people’s opinions, pronouns, bodies, spaces, and time.
- Keep it flowing. While we wish we could be at book club all night, we only have an hour and a half. Please be mindful of leaving room for everyone to speak.
- Lead with curiosity. This is a place for expanding our ideas of whats possible!
- If you haven’t read the book, you are still welcome! No need to read the book to come and participate in our community, all are welcome <3
If you would like to prepare for February, we will be reading “Hollow Kingdom” by Kira Jane Buxton. You may RSVP for that event by visiting seattlereconomy.org/events and searching for “Book Club”!
ACCESSIBILITY:
- Much of the NE Seattle Tool Library interior is wheelchair accessible. All entrances have ramps that may exceed a 5 degree slope. The all-gender restroom is quite small and not ADA compliant.
- Non-English and ASL interpreters are not provided at our classes and events, however attendees are welcome to bring their own interpreters.
- Please contact us with any accessibility notes or requests.
