Volunteer Training and Refresher at the Shoreline Tool Library

April 22 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Free
Come join us for our Monthly Volunteer Training where you’ll learn new skills and meet other awesome volunteers!

This is a great opportunity to learn more about how you can get involved with the community and help out at the Shoreline Tool Library. Whether you’re a seasoned volunteer, you haven’t been back in a while, or you’re brand new, everyone is welcome!

We’ll cover everything you need to know to check in and out tools, assist members, and answer all of your questions. We’ll also go over other ways to volunteer, including beautification, outreach, inventory, fixing tools, and steering committees. If you’d like to learn a little more about each opportunity before seeing the space (and see what other opportunities we have), check out seattlereconomy.org/volunteer, and we’ll see you there!

Perks of being a Seattle REconomy tool library volunteer?

  • Free tool library membership when you volunteer 1 shift (or 3 hours) per month
  • Access to our Ridwell bin
  • Free Seattle REconomy class if you volunteer 3 shifts (or 9 hours) in one month (learn more about our classes on seattlereconomy.org/classes-events)
  • Warm fuzzy feelings!

If you haven’t already, fill out our Volunteer Interest Form!

This monthly event is hosted at the NE Seattle Tool Library and the Shoreline Tool Library, alternating locations each month. If it isn’t hosted at the location you hope to volunteer at, don’t worry! This training includes foundational information that will help you at whichever tool library you volunteer at.

If you find that you can no longer attend this event, please cancel your RSVP.
