Rachel Boy

Volunteer, Board Member

Rachel came to the Tool Library because she needed a circular saw and stayed because she wanted friends and a sustainable future!

About Rachel

I’m a software engineer by training and profession, but outside of work, I love more tangible kinds of making. You can find me anywhere there’s dirt to play in or heavy objects to lift (hello, trail maintenance!), and I’m always dabbling in some kind of sewing (this year: quilts!). I love the vibrant, caring, creative community that makes up Seattle Reconomy, and I love that, as a board member, I get to help that community’s ideas come to life. I couldn’t be prouder of the work we do, and I look forward to hearing all about your current project next time you’re at one of our tool libraries!

Seattle REconomy is a 501c3 tax-exempt nonprofit dedicated to reducing our community’s footprint and increasing our climate resilience through education and practical solutions.
