Open Hours

Hours have not been determined yet. We are currently planning for Saturdays along with some undecided opening(s) on weekdays.

Coming May 1st...

The Bike Shack

The Shoreline Bike Shack will be a place for Tool Library members – regardless of prior bike repair experience – to work on their bikes with a friendly volunteer bike mechanic. We are looking to equip the space with many bike repair tools, a repair work stand and parts available for purchase for what you can afford. We are looking forward to helping you fix your own bike!

You will be able to work on your bike during the Bike Shack’s open hours. The Shoreline Bike Shack operates on a first-come, first-served basis. We will also have a Request for Assistance form if you would like additional assistance while working on your bike!

Only members may use our Bike Shacks, but members are not limited to which Bike Shack they utilize. The suggested donation for using the Bike Shack is $20 per hour, but no one is turned away for lack of funds.

Please email bikeshack@seattlereconomy.org with any questions about the Bike Shack. We are in need of volunteer bike mechanics! Please get in touch with us at bikeshack@seattlereconomy.org to learn more!

Volunteers Needed!

We also need volunteers and bike tools to open up this second space at the Shoreline Tool Library! Located just off the Interurban Trail, the new tool library is perfectly situated to help us fix people's bikes. Please contact us if you are interested in being involved or you have bike tools you'd like to donate to the new space. We hope to open the new bike space on May 1st, 2024.
