We are thrilled to announce that the Shoreline Tool Library is coming along very nicely. Our lovely staff and volunteers have been working hard to create shelving, accept donations, and train volunteers in preparation for our grand opening happening shortly after the new year.

Our grand opening will be on Saturday, January 6, 2024. We will be open that day from 9am until 12pm. Please stop by anytime! There will be snacks and drinks, and lots of tools to check out. We will also be accepting donations, whether it be tool donations or materials donations.

We ask that tool donations include tools that are working and non-gas powered; we want to make sure that the tools we are lending out to our community are safe to use! You can check out some more details about the tools we accept and are looking for on this page. As for materials, there is a wide range of materials that we accept. You can take a look at this page, but we also encourage you to reach out to ShorelineTL@SeattleREconomy.org if you have any questions about materials.

You can officially sign up to come on by at the link below. It is not required, we are just using Eventbrite as a way for you to put it on your calendar and for us to understand how many people might be showing up! We look forward to seeing you there!
